Provide oversight for data flow to and from IT systems. Duties include: Monitoring directories for files that need to be transferred to other systems; Assisting users with account creation; Assisting users with accessing and using IT systems. Responding to customer queries and escalate issues to System Engineers or System Administrators; Updating Standard Operating Procedures documents to adapt to new system functionality or configuration changes

In order to be considered for this position, all applicants must have an active high level security clearance that required a screening examination with a security background check. If you have already completed a background check/clearance, then that is a plus!

 

Responsibilities

The Level 0 Help Desk Support shall be able to perform the following indicated tasks: 

  • Develop an understanding of the numerous process flows to other IT systems
  • Create and maintain user accounts that involve Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates
  • Provide updates to technical and nontechnical application documentation
  • Execute canned scripts to process data files Execute canned database queries to aid in problem             determination
  • Provide daily written and oral communications with the customer
  • Make recommendations for improving documentation
  • Assist with executing test procedures for software components
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures for data handling
  • Participate in planning sessions for process improvement
  • Create Help Desk tickets in the designated ticket tracking system
  • Compile and organize data for monthly status reports

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical degree field is required or two (2) years of Help Desk experience.
